DENIM REPAIR WORKSHOP

this is a small group workshop that is dedicated to learning the essential repair and hem techniques for denim garments. Participants will receive demonstrations and close guided instruction while applying these skills to their own garments.

SKILLS YOU WILL LEARN

  • HemminG TECHNIQUES - BASIC AND ORIGINAL pant hems

  • Machine Darning - Repair worn areas and patch reinforcement

  • Closures - Button replacement and basic zipper repair

WHAT IS PROVIDED

  • Individual workstation for each participant

  • Access to a home sewing machine and sewing kit

  • Fabric materials to create take-home reference samples

This allows you to work at your own pace while receiving direct guidance from the instructor.

WHAT TO BRING

  • At least one pair of jeans to hem and/or repair

  • Additional items are welcome (e.g., denim jacket, khakis)

  • Notebook and pen

Participants should be confident beginners and must be familiar with the basic functions of a home sewing machine.
